I think most people understand religion as they are taught by their parents and/or preachers while we need to grow with time and experience and understand religion at different levels of our development directly through the scriptures. This book gives my views on religion, especially on the Christian faith and spirit.

Not only have the cultures of the different countries I have lived in helped my understanding of Christianity but also the books of different religions I have read and the religions I have believed in. Hence, I think my understanding of Christianity is different, if not better than what it might have been if I had been born in a Christian family and lived just in one country which is why I feel God wanted me to write my story and talk of my beliefs and faith that will show how beautiful and liberal the Christian spirit is, the spirit that forms the backbone of Christianity, as I feel and understand it. Developing this Christian spirit of love and seeking the truth without judging others is the beginning of the way that leads to the many mansions in heaven, the house of God.

         After this faith which is as subjective as our beliefs, comes the faith of experiencing ‘near-miracles,’ the time when our prayers are answered frequently. We still have not experienced God; our love may still be selfish and full of attachment for people we consider dear to us. We are gentler and kinder than before but are not compassionate. If we remain humble seekers, our faith keeps growing and, after experiencing several higher levels of love, we arrive at the faith that is based on experiencing the truth, the reality that is God.

Now, we need to think about who these heirs “of God, through Christ” (the phrase means through the way of love and compassion shown by Jesus) are…Can people from all religions be among this privileged class? Who will be among those who go to the many mansions in God’s house?
