Mrs Lawrence today took the students of Class IX to visit the Old Age Home at Ram Colony Camp, Hoshiarpur – which is an annual event- where they interacted with the abandoned wise souls.

The trip started off with a prayer to the Almighty, asking for his help to gain an understanding of the plight that old people face on a daily basis. Madam, counselled the students about respect for the elderly which has always been the key point that The Trinity School is founded upon.  Ms. Anita Lawrence has time and again laid emphasis on the importance of virtues such as respect, honesty, integrity and compassion for our fellow human beings.

It was really an emotional time for the students as many of their eyes welled with tears after listening to the life stories of some of the old folks. The inmates spoke to Madam and requested that the visits be more frequent in the future. They said that they really feel glad when children from The Trinity School take out time to come and meet them.  Interacting with the inmates, the students got to know that all of them were abandoned by their very own children who they loved and cared for all of their lives. The message was loud and clear although not put into a manner of speech. The children then took their blessings and it was time to leave
